Yeah, I can understand why no one would respond to this. No opportunity to blow one's guts and spew an endless series of nebulous, spurious adjectives describing a fruit beverage one experienced.

When posting a link, I always think it is a good idea for a couple of lines explaining the reason for showing the link. Then those interested will take a looksie.

Perhaps more likey (as Bob stated) that people don't know why you even posted it. Insulting the community isn't going to make the topic any more popular.

It also does not help that Sundays are not too busy round the campfire.

I've got to go along with David, Joseph. Posting even a sentence of context (and personal opinion) makes for a much more interesting post than a bare link. I took a look, saw "Beaux Freres," thought "Parker" and moved on.

Indeed - links without an explanation are something I tend to make a habit of not clicking on. To be blunt, if it's not worth the OP's time to put a precis, then it's probably not worth my time to read it...

Hey Joseph-
I'm not much a part of this community lately, but thought you'd like to know I was not insulted.

Chef, I can't afford Beaux Freres, and don't remember ever tasting one. I guess I will settle for Stone Wolf and Lindsay vineyards. :D :D

Not a bad settle, Bob. :) I had Beaux Freres on the mind because during the crush at Stone Wolf Linda took me to the crush pad and showed me the Avia juice. It was in a bladder press. One has to be careful opening and closing the "doors" on the press - they are heavy and somewhat sharp. Linda bought the press from Mike Etzel a few years ago and while he was showing her how to operate it he cut himself and had to go to the emergency room.

What Robin said. Please provide a sentence or two of context. Such as are you taking me to an article on something, or is it a video that's going to take a horrific time to download on my home dial-up line?

I actually read the article from the link before reading the comments from others. Interesting article. I fall in the category of those who can't afford Beaux Freres (maybe I tasted one once?) but the winery description of the 2007 Estate Pinot Noir along with Stephen Tanzer's description does make me wish I could afford to purchase some bottles.
