DOC Castelli di Jesi Classico Superiore
Barone Pizzini
Fairly dark yellow in the glass.
Not much happening on the nose.
Medium bodied, floral, good acidity, melon, lemon, crisp, some bitterness, rather weighty in the mouth, juniper, vanilla.
Lightly peppery, drying and floral on the finish.
A very odd wine. I found the floral and vanilla notes quite strong and, eventually, quite annoying. Not for me, I guess.
Purchased at $15.95 (Canadian).
