The initial impression was like a delicate chocolate of grave tunes, after a quick aeration the classic pinot comes true.
Green cherry with sweet hints and delicate cinnamon. The base of this aromas always with the classical component of a wild wine, acetone, and epoxy clearly.
In the mouth, is a medium light body structure with high acidity, almost no tannins. It is a funny and easy wine. Vary classical style, no truty fruitiness!
The bottle was empty vary fast. The next time, I will decant this a lot. the alcohol was a little evident on the nose, and with the correct temperature and aeration pass away!
The last bottle i have is the racines 2005. Great expectation!

Sounds like an interesting wine (always a gamble with Courtois) and I am glad it worked out. But am not sure his wines are classical anything. Except maybe classical unsulfured experiments!

Didn't know he made a 100% pinot, sounds cool.

Rahsaan, You are right, maybe I use the wrong worlds to defined as a classical. I just want to suggest that in real, this remember basic burgundy, no high alcohol, no wood, a old style but certainly a classical unsulfured experiments are stronger than the "cherry nose". thanks...

Oswaldo, in the label and in the winterroirs.com they don't mention nothing to different, I believe that is a more unpretentious wine. No famous at all!
