Sicily
Carlo Pellegrino

Moderate dark yellow, with green tints, in the glass.

Green apple, pear, spicy, lightly floral on the nose.

Medium weight, pear, green apple, lemon, a hint of apricot, good acidity, quite rich, lightly honeyed, peppery.

With time, the wine became more acidic, with the lemon moving to the fore, but still quite tasty.

A mouthwatering, lemon citrus rind finish.

A very good wine at a very good price.

Purchased at $13.95 (Canadian).
