Light golden yellow in color. Fairly light on the nose, with minerals and some pear and old apple notes showing up, as well as a herbal note. Much bigger in the palate, with very crisp fruit (apples, peaches), honeysuckle, minerals and almonds packing a lovely, lip-smacking punch. A slight oily texture adds interest. Lovely albarino! (A-)
I grabbed one that had been double discounted at $11.50 CAD - a heck of a deal at that price. I'll definitley hunt for more.
