Cordero di Montezemolo Barbera d'Alba Superiore Funtani 2004 - Not much on the nose except for just a bit of earthiness. Bright, juicy and ripe raspberry and cherry fruit. The wine is framed by a vibrant acidity and a little tannin on the lengthy finish. There might be some room for a bit more improvement but it's a very good, attractive wine now.
Three be the things I shall never attain: Envy, content, and sufficient champagne.
