Casablanca Valley.
Very light yellow color.
Oak, spice and pears on the nose.
Big oak attack, peppery, fleshy pear, lemon-lime and tangerine fruit, good tangy acidity.
A drying finish with zippy lemon rind.
I found the sweet oak a bit too much for my tastes, although I did enjoy the "rest" of the wine. While the oak did integrate somewhat with time, I would have liked this wine much more if they could have just turned down the vanilla-caramel a few notches.
Screwcap closure.
