Well Saturday I head down to Oregon wine country for Oregon Pinot Camp. There are 50 Oregon wineries represented. They started this program about 10 years ago for people in the trade. They do this to help Oregon wineries find distribution in other markets besides Oregon. This year they will have 270 "campers". Of this only 5-10 will be from Oregon, of which I am one. It will provide me with a great way to compare lots of 2007 and 2008 vintage wines. I do this research for my customers. It will be fun talking to lots of people ITB from around the country.

Oh what a blast! We'll await your reports.
My wine shopping and I have never had a problem. Just a perpetual race between the bankruptcy court and Hell.--Rogov

One of my questions is which state is the most competitve for most wineries to sell their Pinots. I think it is right here in Oregon where we have over 550 different labels and brands.

It's a tough job, but I suppose someone has to do it. Good luck.
