This is perhaps the perfect wine to drink in 95-100 degree weather as we're experiencing in the midwest (and country-wide). It's also one of the prettiest whites I've had from provence in a long time. Although the wine is almost half Marsanne, It's the Clairette that dominates with a lemon pie and apple blossom nose. Marsanne is however detectable, and there's just a hint of richness before the refreshing wave of acidity. The middle shows fascinating, yet subtle mint sprig and lime. The only drawback is the lack of intensity which I'm spoiled with from drinking too much Riesling. I'll definitely be picking up another bottle, even though at $20+, it's a little more than I'm used to paying for provencal whites. Another good one from RWM.

Prost!
