2002 Jean-Marc Burgaud Régnié Vallières
Not the most profound of cru Beaujolais but certainly a decent enough gamay for $8. Really solid strawberry and plum fruit, deep nose, very fine tannins, decent minerality, but just short on acidity to help give the wine more spark. It works quite well as a summer quaffer and went really well with a burger. For an additional two bucks, I’d buy more Brun.
