Chateau De Nages Costieres de Nimes Reserve 2005 Rose Rhone Wine
Great rasberry nose that follows through to the palate. There are also notes of cranberry and orange peel as well as lots of excellent acidity backing the whole truckload. It sold for $7.99 at my local BAWS. I would buy it again at that price or more. It made an excellent match to my wife's Maryland crab cakes. I can still taste them as I type this note. The fresh green beans, tomatoes and crusty bread with olive oil made for an excellent way to celebrate a great summer evening.

Now that sounds good! Crab cakes are about the only thing I miss from my time in the Army in Maryland, 40+ years ago.

Where were you stationed? What about the Natty Bo beer?

I was stationed at Edgewood Arsenal, near Bel Air.

I'd hate to say how many Natty Bo bottles got lined up in the middle of a table now and again!
