Vin de Pays D'Oc (although the back label states that the vineyards are in Minervois). From Jacques and Francois Lurton.
Light golden yellow color.
Tangy lime on the nose.
Thick, rich and lightly creamy, lemons and lime, with peach and orange peeking through as the wine warmed. Peppery and good, edgy and tangy acidity.
Tangy, grapefruit rind finish.
Quite an intense wine. However, the last few glasses weren't as impressive after they were retrieved from the fridge following our post-dinner walk.
Screwcap closure.
Great value at $12.95 Canadian.
