When he released that $100 Lake Cab, I thought that was the most insane thing I'd ever done see'd. Little...LITTLE...did I know it was only the first crest of the wave.
Somewhat like Tom don't think CA cabs are worth what the really good ones demand. Can't force myselft to spend more than $50 on domestic stuff....
I was fortunate to know people in the valley who were good friends of Boots & Al and had the use of his beautiful grounds for birthday celebrations etc., to which I was lucky to be invited.
Fond memories I am sure for those who knew him personally.
