Gustav Lorentz Pinot Gris Altenberg de Bergheim Vieilles Vignes 2003 - Beautiful pink-hued wine. Lightly smoky nose. Frankly sweet. Very easy, some spiciness. Dry, slightly bitter and abrupt finish. Surprisingly light for a wine of 14.5% alcohol. No heat at all. Enjoyable wine for current drinking. I don;t expect any improvement with age.
Three be the things I shall never attain:
Envy, content, and sufficient champagne.
