Talk about your QPRs!!!

A full liter of GruVe for $9.89.

Crown cap: no muss, no fuss, no capsule....and no cork taint.

The wine: deliciously drinkable, crisp and green veggie/minerally, with a little limeade tang going on. Since we're having a bit of a heat spell here in Sonoma, this was a wonderful wile away the warm evening sipper.

...until my wife got greedy and sucking down more than her fair share, that is. Then I had to keep an eye on her.

This is the kind of simple, straightforward wine that's never going to be spectacular, but does a damn fine job of being good at a low price.

And it's already sold out at the importer level. Skurnik has no more. Supposedly Hofer has another "batch" but Terry Theise has not yet tasted it, so for now...buy it where you can find it.

Probably the best white wine QPR of the last 5 years.

Right at the top, dude!

It's touch and go for me with the Basa Rueda---and that's so hot, when the new vintage comes out I expect it will go up in price significantly.
