Brut Reserve about $40 at Compass in Anacortes Washington. Nice and toasty nose with a spicy note added. Pale hay color. Fine dry finish. This smaller house delivers good wine for the price, never dissapointing.
Thanks,
Mike

$40 is a pretty good price in this overheated/lousy dollar market. Like you I am usually very happy with Billecart, though the Rosé has gotten a bit dear of late.

$40 at Compass? Must have been awhile ago? The pre-Euro price up here was $40 and it's now $47ish, and Compass is always another $4-5 more.
My wine shopping and I have never had a problem. Just a perpetual race between the bankruptcy court and Hell.--Rogov

It may have been a few months back when I purchased that. I have a tendency to keep a few champagne, moscato di asti and some average whites at the ready and when the mood or dinner presents itself, i raid the second refer..... I like Billecart and have had it for years. Their 82 was someting special.
Thanks,
Mike
