Medium red color, deep hue, no bricking apparent, lovely aroma of fruit and spice, very good fruit, spice and earth tastes, well developed and mild tannins, very light acidity, wonderful balance, medium mouth feel, long, lingering finish with a tannic finish on the tongue, quite a pleasant wine. 4*.

Wonderful combination with very rare bison burgers and the first Haricots Verts of our season -- six minutes from bush to pot. What made it so good? The beans? The bison? The wine?

Ah, ... Janet.

And the combination of all those other wonderful consumables. :-)

Regards, Bob

Pre spoof Pavie are really nice! I never did understand the bad press they received - and still do! I've even had fine weak vintage Pavies. Consistency, cheap, good - so why the complaints from most drinkers? Glad I'm not alone in enjoying them.

Modern Pavie, however, comes straight from the ass. But I suppose non-Finns won't understand the bad pun unless I say that ass in Finnish is Perse... Lame. I'll get me coat.
I don't drink wine because of religious reasons ... only for other reasons.

Bob,
You are an incurable romantic. The company is a lot more important than the wine, although the right wine never hurt anything.
Cheers!

Bob, that's closer to a Fleur Burger than anything I could ever hope to have! Sounds wonderful! I take bison over hamburger when I can get it. And green beans...perfect!!!
