Sue and Ed thanks for the post and the feedback!
I will add the episode lengths going forward. Most run about six minutes.
So what makes this different then just an audio file on a website (which it is)?...
A podcast can be subscribed to using a computer program like apple's (free) iTunes
http://www.apple.com/itunes/ (there are many others) or an internet based tool like my.yahoo.com. Whenever there is new content it is automatically dowloaded behind the scenes so it's ready to be listened to or watched at your convenice. It is specifically called a podcast because you can then put that file on your iPod or MP3 player and listen to it on the fly.
Many folks these days are getting their favorite radio programs in podcast form and listening to them in car on the way to work or when exercising. TV is following suit.
I hope that explains things. If you want to go to the actual podcast at iTunes click this link:
http://phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZSt ... =140156078
you can subscribe for free and get all the latest shows as they become available.
Thanks again for your feedback and please let me know if you have any other questions.
Cheers, )>--|
