Iowa: New Wine Trail

by Jim Hofman » Tue Apr 29, 2008 2:21 pm

Here's a link to an interesting article in the Des Moines IA Business Record, discussing agri-tourism in general and the new Heart of Iowa wine trail in particular.

The author interviewed us for the article for our perspective on wine travel and wine trails tourism, but unfortunately we were left on the proverbial cutting room floor due to space restrictions. :(

Nonetheless, it's a nice article and it may be of interest to anyone traveling I-80 across the midwest this summer.

We're planning an Iowa feature early this summer, most likely focusing on the original Iowa wine trail in the eastern part of the state.
