Very dark. Nearly black. Oaky, Coca-Cola nose, however, the oak is well integrated and subtle on the palate. Soft and rich. Earth, coffee, dark fruits. No jaminess or overripe character. There is a bright acidity which gives this wine a good balance. Finishes quite long. Excellent wine which makes for a good drink now wlthough it should age well. 18 months new French oak, 7% Viognier.
Three be the things I shall never attain:
Envy, content, and sufficient champagne.
