WTN: Montes Oak Aged Cabernet Sauvignon 2005

Colchagua Valley.

Decanted approximately 20 minutes before the meal.

Very dark red in the glass.

Spicy, red licorice, raspberry and rich chocolate on the nose.

Lots of chocolate, black cherry and raspberry, smooth, silky and mouth-filling, smoky, quite rich, tarry, mint, rather tangy, with some hardness and a bite toward the end.

A tangy, spicy, raspberry finish.

Very classy and delicious.
