05 Dead Letter Office Shiraz (Henry's Drive)

I tried this on a whim. We used to drink quite a bit of Aussie Shiraz many years ago. I guess you really can’t go back.

In any case its dark, almost black in the glass. Minty nose with hints of dark chocolate and a noticeable oakiness. On the palate..its probably much like you’d imagine. Thick, soft, slightly sweet and lacking any decent quantity of acid or tannins…but plenty of wood. I hated it. Oddly enough, Dina liked it…so go figure.

About $25.00…I won’t buy any more.
