maybe i missed the announcement but is this site staying on standard time? or is it set to change on the old date? or are we on some odd form of indiana time.

Indiana no more, David. We now observe EDT along with the rest of the Eastern time zone of the US. Try telling this to Apple's Network Time Servers, though. :cry:

David, the board software doesn't automatically change time with Daylight Savings Time. You have to go to The User Control Panel in the top left, Click on Board Preferences, and choose the time zone you want to use. There's a line on some pages that warns that UTC time is in effect for board purposes -- top right somewhere.

Go to the line on The User Control Panel that reads:

Summer Time/DST is in effect:
