Reading notes about monster jamminess in Zins, there are exceptions. Ruby color, definitely light berry fruit on the nose. On the palate, nice zinberry raspberry fruit. The tannins are smooth, and there is no evident heat (well under 15% abv). This is a nice sipping wine. My only complaint would be it's a little simple, without the pepper and earthy spice I like. Still...went very well with a cheese and baguette combo!
