I have several from 2001, all good producers like Donnhoff, Weil, and Muller-Catoir.

It's starting ot be a good time to look in on the trockens. A famous German wine review does a ten years after tasting, so obviously they think the wines can go the distance

Only '01 trocken I have is the Donnhoff Schlossbockelheimer Felsenberg Spatlese, if you try it I'd love to hear an opinion- I have one lonely bottle

Mine are all kabinett i believe. But I'll post notes.
