Edmunds St. John, '04 Bone-Jolly," Gamay Noir, El Dorado County, Witters Vineyard

Whatever price I paid for it, it was more than worth it. And you'd never know that the alcohol level is at 13.1%. This elixir is drinking so well right now. And it's my last darn bottle. Thank you, Steve!
And now what?

That too many people have died?

There's still half a bottle. If you make it by 8:00 p.m. PT you can still snag a glass.

New slogan: I'd walk 1,000 miles for a Bone-Jolly.

I have a few bottles of '06 arriving today. Yay!

Cynthia, you can stop here for a glass on your way out to Gary's. :D

That would truly be a roundabout way of getting from NM to CA!

My first few '04 BJs weren't as exciting as this last bottle. My own conventional wisdom used to inform me that Gamay Noir and its California impostor Valdiguié were drink-me-now and drink-me-young wines. It seems my conventional wisdom was wrong. Save one or two of those bottles for a rainy day in 2010 and let me know ... or invite Cynthia and me over for a BBQ.

But I am on the way since I moved. *pointing to location line*

Good advice on hiding a couple of bottles, Gary. It is going to be tough to keep my hands off of them but it sounds well worth it.

Sorry, Bill, but I wouldn't drop down as far as you. I'd just go through Flag. But I think Gary's idea of a special trip to drink yo... er... see you is a good one!

I could have made it last night, Gary, but my radar detector quite working! :D
