WTN:Domaine Labbé Abymes Vin de Savoie 2006

100% Jacquère
It’s all green apples, pear eau de vie, and capsicum laced up to the knee with tin and steel. Texturally, it seems to be back on par after a more opulent 2005 (opulent for Savoie!) and the high acid and straightforwardness is so lip-smacking and refreshing that I hope the US supply lasts all summer. Fat chance I’m guessing. I’m so thankful that there are still wines this good that cost so little! 11% alc. $11

I'm another fan of this, Bill. Perfect summer white, crisp and delicious for $9, hard to beat. My local grocer has this on the shelf which I'm happy about. It holds up well for several days in the fridge which is an added bonus if you only want one glass.
Best,
Marc

You have a good grocer Marc! I agree too about its fridge-life -this bottle did greek pizza with me for dinner last night and a sandwich for lunch today.

I gotta find this! Sounds awesome!
