Chico - Hey! This Bottle is empty!
Groucho - That's because it's dry Champagne.

Sorry guys, will have trouble making it until we make the DST switch. Right now it's at 7am here, peak hour in the kitchen. Mind you, when we do switch it will be 6am, not sure if that's going to be better !

All the best,

Celia

When do you switch Celia?
We've just had DST extended by 3 weeks this year, so fall back on April 6th this year.

I'm going in early. Is anyone else around?
Yes, and how many deaths will it take 'til he knows
That too many people have died?
The answer, my friend, is blowin' in the wind
The answer is blowin' in the wind.

Sorry I wasn't there, but my weekend included the death of an 18-year-old cat.

Sad about the cat, Paul. We are cat people ourselves.

She had a good, long life, but it was her time to go. In one way, it's a big burden lifted, not having to worry about her. But I still find myself habitually looking over to the corner she spent most of her time sleeping in, and she isn't there.

Oh, Paul. I'm so sorry.

It's so difficult to lose someone who has been such a part of one's life, even if it's time.

Oh Paul, I am so sorry to hear that. Cats become so much part of a family, it's always great sadness to everyone in the clan when they lose their ninth life.

So sorry to hear your news, Paul. We've got two female cats in our household. One at 16 seems to be ok, but like all mortal beings, she is on the wrong side of middle age. The other female is all but 3 (guessing) but with her cavalier attitude in wanting to be friends with every other animal that has four legs and walks, I suspect Misty might not last as long as our Steffi!
Cheers,

David
