I have a bottle of the '02 Merryvale Beckstoffer Vineyard X I picked up a couple of years ago while visting the winery. I'm not too familiar with Merryvale, but at the tasting room I gathered this would benefit with some time. Does anyone have any suggestions on the drinking window?
Cellartracker users suggest 2006-2012, but I trust the people here more.

Mike, I havent had '02 but for reference I'm holding my '01 Vyd X's for a good 10yrs (2010+) and '00 seemed a bit of an earlier drinker (I might open one this year to see how it's progressing).
Re: '02, the Merryvale website says "CELLARING This wine should develop complexity with up to ten years in the bottle and hold for many years after that."

Thanks Bill. That confirms my best guess.
