2000 Buena Vista Tres, Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon, 13.5% ABV, 757 cases produced. Price unknown, probably expensive, a gift. What a disappointment. Unresolved tannins, little evident fruit, moderate length of finish. No flaws that I could detect, TCA, VA, brett and so on, just not a very appealing bottle of wine. Cork pulled three hours in advance, and it did not open up much in the glass, even after three additional hours had passed. I know it was a little young, but it should have been much better than it was. If I had any more, I wouldn't touch it for another 5 years or so.
