WTN: Chateau de Quincay Sauvignon Selection Tradition 2006

by Bruce Hayes » Thu Mar 06, 2008 11:19 am

AC Loire
Frederic et Philippe Cadart

Lovely rich nose, lemon, peppery and some saltiness.

Light bodied, lemon, lime and grapefruit, somewhat creamy, good zippy acidity, some grapefruit rind bitterness, clean and minerally. The wine is much better, and shows more, when it is a little warmer. It appeared quite shy and diluted fresh out of the fridge.

Light grapefruit rind on the mouthwatering finish.

Purchased at $12.95 (Canadian).
