Wtn: Lovely wine, and drinking well right now. It still has quite some time to go. Peachy nose, stone fruit palate, lemony finish, nicely acidic, just a delicious glass of wine that is extremely well balanced and pleasing. A tip of the hat to Herr Donnhoff.

Interesting. You don't mention any botrytis influences.

David, I don't taste any botrytis elements in this wine. I've had a couple of other Donnhoff 2000 spatlese and seem to remember the Brucke spatlese had botrytis influence, but it sure wasn't in this bottle. This bottle was excellent, and really well done for this or any vintage. Happily looking forward to the rest of the bottle tonight, Jim
