Miani Bianco 1995, Buttrio, Friuli, Italia. A „cult“ artisan wine producer from Buttrio, this is a blend of chadronnay, pinot grigio and riesling. Very expesive, it was a gift from an good old friend.

A lot of toast on the nose, oak driven aromas, nutty, waxy, very nice crisp acidity, round mouthfeel, oaky aftertaste. Would't have guessed that this is a 13 years old white. Still expected much more, but obviously Enzo Pontoni loved to use a lot of new heavy toasted barriques in the mid 90-ies. Not my cup of tea. Probably would be a better idea to sell it on ebay. :D

What, you've got ebay over there, too? The world's not safe. :D
