2006 Schlossgut Diel Dorsheimer Goldloch Riesling Spätlese - Germany, Nahe (2/16/2008)A very rich but still balanced spatlese, with tropical and peach fruit, as well as more depth than precision. The finish gains focus, so it's clear that this is just a really big wine that neds some time to fully reveal itself. Several years of aging will moderate the boisterous fruit and let the structure emerge. Good now, but there's potential for greatness.
