Wine Crossword Puzzle

by JoePerry » Tue May 30, 2006 11:20 pm

Yeah, I have no life.

Try not to Google it, but books are fine.

Let me know how it goes. Some questions are tough, some are easy...

Please note! Three across is misspelled. I spelled it like the Kistler muse, not the Chave muse. 8)

Hard but for the most part fair. I couldn't get 1-down because of your spelling of 3-across-I ran through every appelation I could think of , but couldn't make anything fit. A few I had no clue on - 29 across, 17-down, one or two others. And of course 8 across is more wineboard than wine, but easiest one on page. Thanks

Did I misspell 3 across? I'm sorry. I was up a bit late doing it.

I tried to throw in a few toughies that would need to be solved by getting all the supporting questions, but there wasn't as much boxing as I would have liked to make that possible.

Thanks for trying it! Maybe I'll do another if I get a few hours free

Joe,
Aren't you an elementary school teacher? Don't you have some papers to grade?
Cheers!

I’m an administrator, the only time I correct papers is when little Hoke needs to write a letter of apology for peeing in the bathroom sink. :D

Glad you liked it Bob! The first thing I thought of when I started was that it was something up your alley.

Best,
Joe

You mean you're the principal?!!! I guess Hoke saw your type enough back in the Depression. But really, don't they pay you to push some papers? Make paperwork for those of us who really work?

Not a Principal; I am the “Program Director” of a private facility that hosts small Kindergarten classes during the day (about 50-60 families enrolled). I also wear the hat of a Program Director for before and after school care for children in grades K-8 (about 120 families enrolled). In the off-season, I'm the Program Director of three summer camps, two of which I thankfully delegate authority on so that I can actually do some hands-on work with my Hamilton Adventure School (another 80 families).

It’s all great fun, but the rub is working at least 50 hours a week.

I'll PM you with my new website, but I just started playing with it so all the descriptions are brief and without the logos and pics.

Best,
Joe
