Niagara Peninsula.
An odd (to me) nose of old, stinky cheese.
Not showing very much at first, but it opened up nicely with air exposure and some warming. The bottle was brought to our table much too cold.
Light to medium-bodied, lemon, peaches, grapefruit, a little oily, very peppery with a bitter bite of grapefruit rind, very tangy acidity. Good, intense flavours on a rather light and delicate frame.
Purchased for $26 (Canadian) from a restaurant wine list.
