I'm sure it is old news, but these people never cease to amaze me.

There must be cheaper and easier ways to get drunk, and frankly the idea of being herded around to drink tiny pours doesn't seem like a very efficient or atmospheric way of doing that.

But, I guess it has its appeal for some. And yes, many wine countries are beautiful..
