by Cynthia Wenslow » Wed Jan 16, 2008 5:19 pm

Feeling a little bit rushed and stressed lately? Here at the WLDG, we have the perfect cure for what ails you!

Come join us for the regular WLDG Mid-Week Chat and De-stressing Session. It's a chance to slow down, sip a glass of something good, and engage with your fellow community members in fun and frivolity. It's always a free-flowing conversation touching on most anything imaginable... and we even talk about wine and food!

We gather at 9:30 p.m. Eastern, 8:30 p.m. Central, 7:30 p.m. Mountain, 6:30 p.m. Pacific, 0230 Thursday GMT, some truly horrible hour in the middle of the night in Western Europe, 1:30 p.m. Thursday in Sydney and environs, and 3:30 p.m. Thursday in New Zealand.

Click to Enter --> WLDG Chat Room

All members of the WLDG Community are welcome! Please join us!

And don't forget that the chat counter may be gone from the front page, but you can still check it: Chat Room Counter

The WLDG Chat Room is available 24/7 for the use of all WLDG members!

Ditto. BTW, the Hemlock tree got its name from a perceived similarity of the smell of its crushed foliage to that of the herb. And I also learned that the water hemlock (genus Cicuta) might be the most toxic plant native to the US.

In case anyone else from the chat is wondering, Mark and I were planning an offline with some special wines to be blind-tasted. That is how the subject of hemlock came up.
