AC Bergerac.

A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot.

Medium dark red in the glass.

Initial nose was quite nice: roasted coffee, floral and chocolate, but the nose shut down about half way through the bottle.

Drying, earthy, black olives, pencil lead, quite austere, woody, tarry, no discernable fruit. As closed as this sounds, the wine really shut down and closed up shop about half way through the bottle.

Tart and drying on the finish.

Purchased at $13.85 (Canadian) and not worth it, IMHO.
