2005 Torre Dei Beati Montepulciano d'Abruzzo (Italy, Abruzzi, Montepulciano d'Abruzzo)
delicious bottle of red table wine for less than twenty bucks.
The wine has a great mouthfeel, with extremely fine tannin. I get some meaty, bloodlike flavors, along with tart plum.
Pairs well with eggplant parm and some crusty bread.
This was a really enjoyable bottle.
