WTN: Zolo Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon 2004

Mendoza.
Fincas Patagonicas.

Very dark purple in the glass.

Veggy-greeness and roasted notes on the nose.

Soft in the mouth, creamy, thick, blueberry, dark bitter chocolate, quite rich, good acidity, spicy, roasted, with a vegetal-greeness which increased in intensity with time.

Drying finish.

A delicous, big, rich and almost gulpable wine. The only criticism I have is the persistent greeness. If it wasn't for that, this would have been a great wine, particularly for the price.

Purchased at $16.85 (Canadian).
