JC, there is absolutely no rule against telling our gang about a great wine-related opportunity <i>as long as you're not promoting your own business</i>. This kind of consumer announcement is very much within rules and policy, and you deserve thanks, not criticism.

One suggestion, though: It might be more effective to try to work something more specific into the subject so people will know what it's about.

"Alert! Angelus dinner in DC" or something <i>might</i> be even more effective. Just sayin' ...

After seeing the title of the post, I wasn't sure if I was supposed to read the post itself or evacuate my home!!
