Bonny Doon Vineyards presents:
2005 Il Circo “La Funambola” Erbaluce di Caluso 12.5% alc.

A fun, Italian, novelty white that jumps right out of the glass at you!
Great fruity/floral nose with some lemonpeel and peach pie and a definite whiff of raw pie crust and bit of yeast. Kind of the same yeast that you’d commonly associate with a bubbly wine. Wow. I could smell this stuff all day! Fruity on the palate. Lemon custard with some white pepper notes. Great palate cleansing acidity, again reminding me of a bubbly. Medium weight with a decently long finish. No fake-ey plastic-ey aftertaste; which I appreciate. Picked this one up a year ago so I probably wouldn’t have much luck finding any more. I couldn’t even find it on Bonny Doon’s website. Anyhoo, I’d buy more if I could.

Happy Holidays,
Later y’all.

Make the sage frolic, and the serious smile."
