Lovely PN I picked up yesterday at the state store. After a month of running around like a nut, singing concerts and professional caroling gigs ad nauseum, I treated myself to a lovely eggplant parmeggiano with this black fruit/cherry, subtle yet complex 2002 Wilamette Valley Pinot Noir. It truly came alive with the tomato sauce in my eggplant parm. I am surpised how deep black fruit this was, with a nutmeg softness underlying the whole experience, though with crisp acidity that gently nibbled the sides of my tongue. A true delight.
