American Caviar-Grower Champagne?

by Greg H » Sat Dec 22, 2007 1:32 pm

I am thinking of tasting some American Caviar this New Years Eve. To go with it, I have been thinking of champagne, although other suggestions would be welcome.

I would appreciate hearing about some grower champagnes that you feel might be particularly good choices with the caviar.

Thanks

except that rose champagne may not be the best, i think that the recent thread on champagne recommendations should be at least as much as you need on the subject. lots of grower stuff in there.

Hi Cynthia,
Can you remind me how to make the links look nice like that?

Sure, Howard.

In your post click the URL button near the top right of the post body window.

(I'm using the * just so it doesn't generate real links and you can see it all.)

It will insert something that looks like this, but without the *: [*url*]

Backspace and take out the ending ]. Insert a = then immediately after that the link address, including the http://

At the end of that link address, close the bracket by using ]

Type in your nice description, then [*/url*], again omitting the *. Voila!

Here is an example:

[*url=http://www.mylinkhere.com*]My Link[/*url*]

And an example without the code being visible:

Thanks Cynthia.
Here's a test to see if I did it right

The Official Chicago Cubs Site

Yup, it works. Thanks again.
