50% grenache, 30% mourvedre, 20% syrah. Very attractive bright medium purple color. Nose of dark berries and black pepper, and even some gunpowder (!?). Full body, 15% abv. Spicy red and black fruit, raspberries, liquorice and a hint of vanilla oak. The wine is aged for 18 months in new casks, the oak is rather noticeable. Big wine, still tannic, it needs a couple of years or more to show its best. Medium/long finish. Very, very nice, it will get better with cellaring.
