Real Sitio De Ventosilla, Ribera Del Duero.

A blend of Tinto Fino (95 per cent), Cabernet Franc (three) and Merlot (two).

Decanted.

Dark purple color in the glass.

Sweet cherries and spicy on the nose.

Christmas cake spice, oaky, chocolate, cherrry fruit, bitter streak in the middle, turning very hot on the finish. The wine soon shut down to leave nothing much, although with further time it came back with cherries soaked in alcohol.

Yuck. Am getting tired of winemakers who produce wines with alcohol levels of 14.5 per cent (as was this one), which dominate their wines.

Sounds thoroughly modernized and disgusting, Bruce.
My wine shopping and I have never had a problem. Just a perpetual race between the bankruptcy court and Hell.--Rogov
