100% malbec from Yacochuya, Cafayate Valley, Salta, in the northmost end of Argentina. Grapes harvested from very high altitude old vines. Deep red color with purple tinge. Aroma of roasted plums and red berries. Full body, 14% abv. Dark fruit, smoke and a hint of toffee. Just a tad tannic. Nice acidity makes it a natural with grilled red meat. Medium finish. Very nice malbec from a terroir very different from Mendoza, with more mineral notes.
