This wine needs an hour+ in the decanter to really strut. Pale, almost translucent color. Notes of cherry, strawberry, cola and a distinctive clove flavor dominate the palate. Great finish that truly does finish. Simply wonderful and it should continue to improve and drink well through its' 12th birthday. I'd buy it again, even at the ~$40 after discount asking price.
