2006 Matua Valley Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc - 13% ABV - screwcap -
Clasic Marlborough SB, gooseberry, grapefruit, lime, plenty of acidity, crisp and clean on the palate. This is what I always hope SB will be and seldom in my limited experience is. $12.99 in West Virginia, probably less than $12 most other places. Supermarket wine. RP 89, I think, if anyone cares. I expect I'll keep buying it until it disappears from the shelves or the next vintage turns out to be crap.

Which it won't be, crap that is, because what I've tasted from 2007 so far is pretty exciting.

Well, that is good news. Thanks Sue. Do you think they'll hold the line on price as well?

Alan, I think Shingle Peak is a SB to look out for from MV? Have posted some TNs here on the Open Mike thread. I will bump up for you!
